  • Mar: Began import and sales of "TDS Software" from Test Systems Strategies Inc. (USA) — a pioneer in test pattern generation and conversion tools that contributed to the standardization of test data.
  • May: Increased capital to ¥47 million.
1999
  • Mar: Established manufacturing subsidiary ATE Works Inc.
2000
  • Oct: Began import and sales of "SPEED2000" from Sigrity, Inc. (USA) — a pioneering power integrity tool.
2001
  • Jun: Began import and sales of the "iConnect" modeling tool from TDA Systems (USA).
2004
  • Jan: Began sales of the "STILDirector" STIL design kit from Toshiba Microelectronics.
2006
  • Feb: Relocated head office to Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki; changed company name from "A.T.E. Service Co., Ltd." to "ATE Service Corporation."
